For this assignment I learned new techniques for coloring with colored pencils. Usually when I color with colored pencils I go any possible direction with the pencil to fill the space. While doing this project I learned that you should always go the same direction with it. This helped my coloring look a lot more clean. I also learned the technique for drawing in perspective. This definitely helped my drawing look more realistic and better all around.
During my work process I asked my table neighbors for feedback throughout my whole project. I asked them for feedback so often because I was afraid that if I thought something was such a good idea and it ended up looking bad to my peers I wanted to know so I could stop myself from doing that. This artwork isn't just for my benefits it's also to share with the fellow artist among my class. At first I was very confused on how to draw in perspective. Thankfully my table mates helped me understand that important information. If they hadn't shown me how to do it, this project would have been a complete fail.
Durning this project I had to step back and analyze my work very often. I did it so often because if I messed up on the perspective it would throw the whole drawing off. It was very important for me to get the perspective correct on this project.I definitly did consider how my ideas would work before I tried them. It was important for me to do this because I wanted this project to be as best as it could. To achieve that I would have to consider things before jumping right into it.
