During this print making project I asked multiple students for feedback on my work. I asked them for feedback as I was working on it instead of when I was done. I did this so if they pointed out something helpful that could aid me in my work I could change it because I wasn't so far along.
No one really inspired me but a few people did help me understand important information about this project. For example, I didn't understand that we weren't supposed to use complimentary colors for our ink and paper. I was about to until some one came up and let me know that we weren't supposed to do that. If I hadn't known that I would have had to redo all of my prints.
During this project I stepped back and anaylized my work very frequently. I wanted to make sure I was doing everything correctly and taking my time. If I were to mess up cutting or cut the wrong part I wasn't able to put it back.
I considered how my ideas would work before I tried them. I did this because, like I said before, if I were to mess up and cut the wrong part I wouldn't be able to put it back. I also considered how they would work because I wanted my print to turn out as best as it could.
I came across the challenge of figuring out what to cut out. This was a challenge for me because I had a lot of different lines and detail. I couldn't have black on black or white on white so I had to think of how I was going to separate the black and white. I responded to this by thinking it out very carefully before I cut anything.
My work never took an unexpected turn and nothing happened that was unplanned. This is because I made sure to plan absolutely everything so nothing unexpected would happen. It all happened as expected and turned out pretty good.
